Luxury EditorialWedding Photography Experience Guide

A refined, intentional approach to your wedding day — designed to create timeless, emotional, and editorial imagery.

GETTING READY

One of the most intimate and emotional parts of your wedding day.

What to expect:

  • Quiet moments with your closest people
  • Final touches: makeup, dress, details
  • Natural emotions and anticipation

Why it matters:

This is where we capture authentic emotions, elegant portraits, and meaningful details (dress, shoes, jewelry). It also allows you to slow down and fully arrive into your day.

Do not skip this part. It sets the tone for the entire story.

  • Unhurried, natural portraits without time pressure
  • Beautiful, consistent indoor light (not dependent on weather)
  • Space for creative and relaxed storytelling

Unlike outdoor photos that depend on timing and light, getting ready offers

a calm, controlled environment for timeless imagery.

FIRST LOOK & VOWS

What to expect:

  • A private, emotional moment before the ceremony
  • Space to connect without an audience
  • Time for relaxed portraits right after

Why it matters:

It removes time pressure later and allows for natural, intimate images in the best light.

A quiet exchange of personal vows, separate from the ceremony, creating an emotional and uninterrupted connection.

This allows for deeply personal, authentic moments in a calm and intimate setting.

CEREMONY

The ceremony can take place in a church or with an officiant, and is often more structured and formal.

This is the heart of your wedding story — captured in a documentary, unobtrusive way. While meaningful and emotional, it is less private, which is why First Look or Private Vows can beautifully complement it.

COUPLE & BRIDAL PARTY

What to expect

This is the time dedicated to creating your most iconic imagery of the day. With gentle guidance and an editorial approach, we'll capture a blend of refined portraits, genuine interactions, and effortless moments with your closest friends and family.

For the most relaxed experience, I recommend allowing 45–60 minutes for couple and bridal party portraits, either immediately following the first look or after the ceremony.

GOLDEN HOUR PORTRAITS

What to expect:

  • A short portrait session near sunset
  • Soft, flattering natural light
  • A quiet moment away from the celebration
  • Romantic and cinematic imagery

Why it matters:

Golden hour often produces the most beautiful light of the day.
Even 10–15 minutes can create some of the most iconic images in your wedding collection.

RECEPTION DETAILS

What to expect:

  • Photographs of your reception space before guests enter
  • Coverage of florals, tablescapes, signage, and design elements
  • Attention to the details you've carefully chosen

Why it matters:

Months of planning go into these details.
These photographs preserve the atmosphere and aesthetic of your celebration.

DANCING & CELEBRATION

What to expect:

  • Candid coverage of the dance floor
  • High-energy moments with friends and family
  • A mix of wide scene-setting images and intimate interactions
  • Photographs that capture the spirit of the celebration

Why it matters:

The reception is where personalities shine. These images help complete the story of your wedding day and preserve the joy of the celebration.

The most beautiful photographs happen when you're fully present

Be present. Take it all in. I'll take care of preserving the rest.
